Award-winning international filmmakers to serve on the international juries

Competition films and series at Finále are evaluated by independent international expert juries, who offer a new perspective on Czech cinematography. Student juries from the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen also participate. Among this year's international jury members are American screenwriter Eric Linus Kaplan, known for series such as Futurama and The Big Bang Theory; Finnish actress Krista Kosonen, who appeared in Denis Villeneuve’s Blade Runner 2049; French documentary filmmaker Judith Auffray; Romanian director and screenwriter Marius Olteanu; acclaimed Belgian producer Dries Phlypo; and award-winning Polish editor Beata Walentowska.
