Closing ceremony open to the public for the first time and with the film Side Effects

The Festival’s closing ceremony will take place on 1 October at Měšťanská beseda, featuring the world premiere of the dark comedy, Side Effects, an adaptation of the successful stage play of the same name by Austrian playwright, Stefan Vögel. After his thriller debut, Daria (2020), director Matěj Pichler turns to the dramedy genre, in collaboration with screenwriters Jan Vejnar (She Came at Night) and Filip Oberfalcer (Holiday on Four Wheels), and producer Pavel Vácha (She Came at Night; On a Plate; Somewhere Over the Chemtrails). The leading roles are played by Anna Polívková, Martin Pechlát, Barbora Seidlová, and Jaromír Nosek. In response to high demand and thanks to increased capacity, the Festival is opening the closing ceremony to the general public for the first time. A portion of tickets will be available for sale so that everyone can enjoy this special moment.
