Following the Traces of Czech Filmmakers

Czech filmmakers are highly sought-after abroad. Therefore, this year's Czech Traces (České stopy) section will once again be rich and diverse. Among the foreign films produced in Czech co-production, we will present the Karlovy Vary Film Festival winner Fruit Gathering (Padlé ovoce), made in collaboration between Myanmar, the Czech Republic, and France, the Slovak historical drama Flood (Potopa), which Slovakia submitted for the Oscars, and the drama Hunger Strike Breakfast (Hladovka), a co-production between Lithuania, the Czech Republic, and Latvia. The program also features the Slovak biographical story Nepela and the Georgian intimate drama The Moon Is My Father (Měsíc je můj otec).
